His silver-grey coat gleams, the red saddlecloth with its golden trim falls in soft folds and beside the chimney stands a little jute bag of pepernoten (little spiced biscuits) with a chocolate letter. Warm lights glow in the houses around — the quiet, magical moment just before the presents go down the chimney.

<details>
Why this cross stitch kit?

The colour palette is calm and atmospheric: deep evening blue, silvery dapple grey, beard white for the moon and snow, with accents of mitre red, gold, chocolate and speculaas. With 22 thread colours you add lovely detail to the horse's mane and coat, the roof tiles and the brickwork of the chimney. A lovely project for beginners thanks to the calm areas of sky, and for experienced stitchers who love subtle greys and blues.
</details>

<details>
Who is this embroidery kit for?

For horse lovers and anyone with a soft spot for the Sinterklaas celebrations.
