A white plume of steam curls from the funnel into the evening-blue sky as Sinterklaas waves from the deck towards the quay. Lanterns along the canal houses reflect golden yellow in the rippling water, and a few seagulls circle above the masts — the most exciting moment of November, captured in cross stitch.
<details>
Why this cross stitch kit?

The colour palette breathes Sinterklaas spirit: mitre red, shining gold, beard white, dapple grey and a deep evening blue, complemented by warm chocolate and speculaas tones in the façades. With 22 thread colours you get lovely detail in the flags, the reflections in the water and the golden decorations on the boat. A great project for stitchers with a little experience, yet thanks to the pre-printed canvas very doable for an enthusiastic beginner too.
</details><details>
Who is this embroidery kit for?

For everyone who watches Sinterklaas arrive each year with butterflies in their tummy, and for lovers of Dutch traditions and harbour views.
