Little dishes of pepernoten (little spiced biscuits) and speculaas, a chocolate letter and a standard lamp with soft golden light complete the scene, while outside the evening turns deep blue.
<details>
Why this cross stitch kit?

The colour palette is warm and festive: mitre red, gold, beard white, dapple grey, chocolate brown, speculaas shades and a calm evening blue. With 22 thread colours you stitch the crafty texture of the surprises, the curling ribbons around the poems and the warm lamplight in lovely detail. A lovely project for beginners who want to try a festive kit, and for experienced stitchers who enjoy an interior full of little stories.
</details><details>
Who is this embroidery kit for?

A much-loved gift for anyone who spends hours crafting surprises and happily writing rhymes every year, and for families where gift evening is a cherished tradition.
