Around them, pepernoten (little spiced biscuits) roll across a linen cloth, beside a little dish of marzipan and a mug of steaming hot chocolate. Through the window, the deep evening blue glimmers — the true spirit of gift evening (pakjesavond) in every stitch.

<details>
Why this cross stitch kit?

The colour palette is festive and warm: mitre red, gleaming gold, chocolate brown, speculaas tones and a calm evening blue. With 22 thread colours you beautifully bring to life the sheen on the chocolate, the round shapes of the pepernoten and the creases in the gold paper. A lovely project for beginners with a little experience, and for experienced stitchers who love atmospheric still lifes.
</details>

<details>
Who is this embroidery kit for?

A wonderful gift for anyone who enjoys the Sinterklaas season, sweet treats and cosy December evenings.
