A candle in a brass holder bathes everything in a soft glow, a small burlap sack lets a few more treats tumble over its edge, and behind the window the December evening turns a deep blue. The spirit of gift evening (pakjesavond) in every stitch.
<details>
Why this cross stitch kit?

The colour palette is warm and festive: mitre red, gold, beard white, speculaas brown and chocolate, set against a deep evening blue. With 22 thread colours you beautifully bring to life the sheen of the taaitaai, the soft sugar coating of the little animals and the fine grain of the wooden bowl. A cosy project for those with a bit of experience, yet thanks to the pre-printed canvas very doable for patient beginners too.
</details><details>
Who is this embroidery kit for?

For anyone who enjoys the Sinterklaas season, sweet treats and real Dutch traditions.
